RemotePass MCP gives your AI tools, including Claude and ChatGPT, direct access to your live RemotePass data. This article explains what it is and how it works.
What is RemotePass MCP?
RemotePass MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that connects AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT directly to your live RemotePass data via a standard OAuth connection.
Once connected, you can query your contracts, payments, review items, and approval flows, and take action on them, all from inside the AI tool you already use. You can also combine your RemotePass data with your other sources, such as a budget model, a headcount plan, or an internal document, and get analysis that neither tool could produce on its own.
What can I do through MCP?
RemotePass MCP supports both querying and actions across your live data.
Query your data
Contracts: list all contracts with filters for type, status, and country; get full details for a specific contract; view payment history per contract
Payments: upcoming and unpaid payments across all contracts
Review items: pending time-off requests, expense claims, invoices, bills, and documents
Approval flows: all active approval flows, approver steps, and the contracts attached to each
Transactions: full transaction history with filters for month, year, and status
Company and users: all entities you have access to, users within the active entity, and entity switching for multi-company accounts
Reference data: supported countries, currencies, payment frequencies, and occurrence options
Take action
Create, update, amend, and archive contracts
Create, update, and delete approval flows
Approve or decline pending payments
Approve or decline review items including time-off requests, expense claims, and invoices
Which AI tools does it work with?
RemotePass MCP works with any MCP-compatible AI tool. Claude and ChatGPT are confirmed compatible. Any other tool that supports the Model Context Protocol will also work.
How do I connect?
You connect once via a standard OAuth flow. Log in with your RemotePass credentials and approve the permissions. From that point, your live data is available inside your AI tool whenever you start a conversation with the RemotePass connector active.

Is my data secure?
RemotePass MCP uses OAuth, the same authentication your RemotePass account uses. You can only access data your account has permission to see. Your data is never shared across accounts.
Is MCP included in my plan?
Yes. RemotePass MCP is included in the base product at no additional cost.
