A Worker Profile lets you onboard a worker on RemotePass without requiring all the information needed to create a full contract. You can add their basic information, keep their documents organized in one place, and enable supported RemotePass features. When you're ready, you can create a contract from existing worker profile.
Why use a Worker Profile?
Worker Profiles are ideal when you want to prepare for a future hire or give workers access to certain RemotePass features before their employment begins. With a Worker Profile, you can:
Create a worker profile before a contract is finalized.
Build and manage your workforce roster in advance.
Invite workers to join RemotePass and complete onboarding.
Enable supported features such as SpendCards, documents and identity verification for existing employee not onboarded on RemotePass.
Invite the worker
After creating the profile, RemotePass sends an invitation email to the worker.
The worker can then:
Create their RemotePass account.
Complete their profile information.
Complete identity verification when required.
Access supported features, such as SpendCards, if enabled by your company.
Until the invitation is accepted, the worker's timeline displays Pending Worker Onboarding.
Add a contract to a Worker Profile
When company is ready to formally onboard the worker:
Open the worker's profile.
Click Add Contract.
Create or Select the appropriate contract type.
Complete the remaining onboarding steps.
The existing Worker Profile is converted into a contract, allowing the worker to keep the same RemotePass account and profile.
Worker onboarding experience
After accepting the invitation, workers can:
Create their RemotePass account.
Complete their personal information.
Access their Worker Profile dashboard.
Complete any remaining onboarding requirements.
If additional information is required to unlock specific features, such as SpendCards, the worker will be prompted to complete their profile and Identity check.
