Yes. 3D Secure (3DS) is enabled for Remotepass Spend Cards and adds an extra layer of protection against unauthorized purchases.
How 3D Secure works
During checkout, the cardholder is prompted to complete 3DS authentication.
A one-time password (OTP) is sent to the cardholder’s email address.
The transaction only completes after the OTP is successfully verified.
OTP details
The OTP is sent to the email associated with the cardholder’s Remotepass account, make sure it’s accessible during the transaction.
Each OTP is valid for 3 minutes.
If the OTP expires or is entered incorrectly, the transaction is declined. You can retry the transaction to receive a new OTP.
What admins should know
3D Secure is enforced at the network level and cannot be disabled.
It applies to purchase transactions regardless of card limits.
