In-app transactions
If a transaction exceeds the online limit, it will be declined.
POS transaction limit
Controls how much a card can spend at physical merchants, such as:
In-store purchases (including Apple Pay)
Terminal-based card payments
Offline merchant transactions
If a transaction exceeds the POS limit, it will be declined
