Why was my Spend Card transaction declined?

Understand about the common reason why spend card transactions can be declined

Common reasons:

  • Insufficient company balance: Spend Cards use a shared company balance, if it’s low, transactions are declined.

  • Limit exceeded: The card’s available limit (online/POS) or max transaction limit is too low.

  • Card status: The card is frozen (no spending) or blocked (permanent).

  • Merchant/network restrictions: Some merchants or transaction types may be unsupported, or there may be a temporary network issue.

What to do:

  • Check with your admin to confirm card status, limits, and available balance.

  • If everything looks fine, retry or contact Remotepass Support.
