With Zapier, you can connect RemotePass to over 6,000+ apps—without writing any code. Automate your HR workflows, sync data seamlessly, and eliminate manual work.


What You Can Do with Zapier?

With the first release, you’ll be able to set up Zaps using the following RemotePass actions:

Contracts

  • Create contract (Fixed, Pay as you go, Milestone)

  • Find contract

  • List contracts

  • Add milestone

People

  • Find worker

  • List workers

Time Off

  • Create time off request

  • Submit time off (approved)

Expenses

  • Create expense

  • Submit expense (approved)

💡 Example automations:

  • Submit Time Off: Sync approved leave from your HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, HiBob) directly into RemotePass for accurate payroll tracking.

  • Submit Expenses: Push approved expenses from Google Sheets, Expensify, or another tool directly into RemotePass for reimbursement.

  • Create Contracts: Automatically onboard new hires from your HRIS into RemotePass.


Who Can Use This Integration?

  • Available to all RemotePass clients, regardless of plan.

  • Only Admin users can access the API key required to authenticate with Zapier.

  • A Zapier account (free or paid, depending on complexity) is required.


Setup Guide

✅ Before You Start

  1. Ensure you have an active Zapier account.

  2. Confirm that your RemotePass account has active API access.

  3. Make sure you are an Admin user (required to generate API keys).


🔑 Set Up Integration in RemotePass

  1. Go to Company Settings in RemotePass.

  2. Navigate to the API Keys page.

  3. Generate a new API key to use with Zapier.


⚙️ Configure Zapier

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose RemotePass as your action app.

  2. When prompted, enter your RemotePass API key.

  3. Add and configure your desired RemotePass action (e.g., Submit Expense, Create Contract).

  4. Test the step and finish your Zap setup.

Who can set up the Zapier integration?
Only Admin users with permission to generate an API key can enable and manage Zapier integrations. More on API keys.

Do I need a paid Zapier plan?
Not always—simple automations can be done on Zapier’s free plan. Multi-step Zaps or premium app connections may require a paid plan.

Is this replacing native integrations?
No. Zapier is a complementary option for custom workflows in addition to RemotePass native integrations and API.
