To ensure submission to payment flow to be continuous and transparent, RemotePass converts and issues the worker submissions as payments once they are approved by you.
Without overtime rule; only Pay as You Go Per Minute, Per Hour and Per Day worker submissions during regular working hours will be converted to payments once you approve the submission.
Since other worker types; Employee on Record, Direct Employee, Fixed Contractor, Pay as You Go Per Month, Per Month and Milestone Contractor have fixed payments in their working periods, regular working hour submissions from those workers will still need your approval, but won’t create a payment.
With an overtime rule, submissions that are compliant with overtime rules, from all worker types, will create a payment upon your approval.
Ex: A submission during working hours from a direct employee won’t have an action for payment. But a submission outside working hours will need action for approval.
Once approved, worker is notified with an Email for pending payment from your side. Then once the payment is completed, notified again that the time tracking submission is completed with payment.
For EoR, Direct Employees, Fixed Contractors and Pay As You Go Per Month Workers, hourly rate is calculated as:
Hourly Salary = Fixed Salary / (Daily Working Hours x Work Days in Cycle)
Ex: Fixed or EoR - Per Month, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, $1000 → Hourly Salary = $1000 / (8 hours a day x (5 days a week x 4 weeks a month) = $6.25
For Pay As You Go Per Minute and Per Day, hourly rate is calculated as;
Ex: Pay As You Go - Per Minute, Minutely Salary: $0.2 → Hourly Salary = $0.2 x 60 = $12
Ex: Pay As You Go - Per Day, 8 hours a day, Daily Salary: $40 → Hourly Salary: $5
Once we calculate the hourly wage, we will use it to calculate the overtime payment amount.
Overtime Payment Amount = Submitted Overtime Amount (hours) x Overtime Multiplier x Hourly Salary
Ex: Fixed or EoR - Hourly Salary = $6.25, Overtime multiplier = x1.5, 2 hours submitted overtime → Overtime Payment = $6.25 (hourly salary) x 1.5 (multiplier) x 2 (submitted valid overtime) = $18.75
