Task-Based and Milestone Contracts
If you're a Pay As You Go Per Task contractor or a Milestone contractor, you'll see both the Time Tracking tab and the Submitted Work tab at the same time. Use each one according to what your client asks of you.
If You Already Use Work Submissions
If you were already using Work Submissions, you can keep using them regardless of your contract type. Here's how it breaks down:
New Per Minute, Per Hour, Per Day, and Per Month contracts → Time Tracking only
New Per Task contracts → both Work Submissions and Time Tracking
All existing Pay As You Go contracts (regardless of type) → both Work Submissions and Time Tracking
